Initial Crowd Sales Dates Set
The time has finally arrived for you to get your own copy of the first published game from Tom Wham Games – Battling Space Ships. We will be using The Game Crafters’ Crowd Sales system where you’ll be able to pick it up at a steep (hopefully) discount – the more people that participate, the bigger the discount. Exact discounts are still being worked out, but could be as much as 35%. The date for the Crowd Sale will be:
- Battling Space Ships: Completed. Now available in our Store.
- Felithian Finance: Crowd Sale completed on April 15.
However, there have been VERY long delays printing at TGC.
- Moose Quest: 3rd in line; Date TBA
Shortly after each sales window closes, the game will be available in our store at the regular retail price so don’t miss out on the sale.
Sign up to be on our mailing list (here) to receive announcements for more games to follow soon after. Some of the possibilities include General Palmer, Dragon Lairds from Outer Space, Missing Mining Moon, Felithian Factories, and Space Barons (the game where the Felith story began). Also possible are some of Tom’s early games published in The Dragon Magazine (Snit Smashing, Snit’s Revenge, and Search for the Emperor’s Treasure to name a few options).
We had thought that the time when Tom and Dave would go gallivanting across the country from one convention to another running the infamous “Wham-a-thon” event was in their pasts. However, there will still be occasion that one or the other (maybe even both) will be attending some public gatherings and would love for you to stop and say Hi or play a game.
Tom Wham Will Appear as a Special Guest at Phoenix Con – Appleton
Tom and Dave will be at Phoenix Con this year. How appropriate that they plan to bring back from the ashes of their past the legacy event called the Wham-a-thon! In years past, the duo would travel to numerous conventions throughout the midwest to run the Wham-a-thon – basically one mega session of Tom Wham games back-to-back for as many days as the convention was open. As the two age, they’re not quite up to that schedule, but there will still be loads of opportunities to sit and play one of the many Tom Wham games brought to the con. They’ll be sure to bring many of the favorites – new and old. Details will be updated here as the become available.
You will need to be an attendee of the convention to be able to play at any of these events. Go to Phoenix Con’s website at PhoenixGameCon.com for all the details of attending and the list of guests and exhibitors.

Tom Wham Will Appear as Guest of Honor at Gary Con XV
Tom has once again been asked to be a Guest of Honor and join the throng that make their way to Lake Geneva, WI in late March each year to Celebrate a Life Well Played – that of E. Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeon’s & Dragons and founder of Tactical Studies Rules (TSR). The exact dates this year are March 23-26, 2023. In fact, Tom is considered one of the “Old Guard” at this convention since he worked at TSR in the very early days. Gary Con awarded Tom the coveted E. Gary Gygax Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 for his…well, achievements over his lifetime. Check back here later to see what event Tom will be running.
